Well it looks like Purim is just around the corner and as I look at what is happening in the Middle East the words or Solomon ring true. There is nothing new under the sun.
Once again the saber rattling of those opposed to the truth is now the center of attention in today's media. It is always the same, eliminate the Israel and her allies. This time things are a bit different than normal. We have a current administration here in the USA that is anti-Israel. Our government refuses to help Israel and acknowledge that her capital is Jerusalem. In fact, our current government wants to give more of Israel away under the guise of peace but history tells us over and over again that this will not work.
The same rhetoric is taking place today as it was during the time of Esther, "eliminate the Jews and everything will be fine." Well the scripture tells us that this is impossible because HaShem says as long as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west there will always be Jews and He keeps His promises.
As believers in the Messiah we should be encouraged by all the disparaging that is taking place around us. As Matthew 24 tells us, these are just the beginning birth pangs so we need to trim our lamps and get our oil ready. The signs are there that the Messiah is coming back shortly and we should be telling everyone we can about His free gift of Salvation that is found only through Yeshua (Jesus) The Messiah.
